Fixed font rendering #91

Not sure the issue belongs here. At the end of this notebook https://notes.quantecon.org/submission/5ddb3c926bad3800109084bf there is a markdown code area. It should be rendered with fixed fonts, but apparently it isn't. More precisely, it seems like spaces are ignored. Apparently, they are stripped from the output.

thanks for reporting @albop -- I wonder if its an issue with the nb rendering for notes rather than `jupinx.

I have no idea. Could you point me to the repository where the rendering is made ?

hey @albop here is the repository for notes but it is mainly written in javascript and the rendering engine is imported from an upstream project nteract. I might tag @AakashGfude to take a look at this issue to see if the rendering issue is jupinx or notes related.
