I have a same problem. The other programs like wii media player, usb loader, i
can easily open my usb ntfs HDD, but in the wiisx i can't. My usb hdd had 2
partition a wbfs and a ntfs partition.

cant open usb drive thru wiisx, without that emulator not worth using as the
games are pretty big for 4gb sd card.

I was having the same problem with not being able to get the NTFS partition to
load anything. I was using an SD for everything, and I started getting into the
Emulators and such, which required more space than a 1Gb SD would provide. I
found that the NTFS file format could not be loaded by my homebrew channel for
apps or by WiiSX. I converted to FAT32, which has a max partition size of 32GB.
But has been working fine as far as loading and saving files. You may have to
have proper directories in place before attempting to save/load. I'm not sure
about that. Some apps will say something like "Cannot Create Directory".

I actually have yet to get any games to work on WiiSX.... Not sure what I'm
doing wrong...

You can format Fat32 larger than 32Gb's with:

Same issue here. I've also tried burning a DVD with games, but no luck with
that either.

well basically it's "just" that someone would need to include libntfs...
it would actually make both wii64 and wiisx a lot more interesting cuz i don't
know anybody who likes to crouch behind the telly to switch USB drives (as Wii
games aren't small enough to fit on FAT32)
Maybe it would be possible AND easier to support exFAT (nope i didn't try this
yet as i don't have an exFAT drive at hand)...

or to have some kind of a workaround, are the emus capable of accessing the
second partition of the USB drive? if so, i'd just shrink my NTFS a bit a make
a second FAT32 partition until you get NTFS to work...
