Your character, your companions and the enemy do not appear. The gameplay continues without issue, but it makes the fight a lot harder than it should be when you can't see what the enemy is nor your position in relation to them. The characters appear whenever the boss performs a special attack, then everyone (including boss) disappears when it concludes.

To reproduce just start the fight by talking to the small dude on the chair.

The issue appears to be intermittent. Sometimes when quitting the emulation and then starting it again the characters (including boss) will appear correctly during the fight while other times they won't appear at all (aside from while the boss is doing a special attack).

And of course when I want to try and make a recording that includes the lead up to it happening, it never happens after 10 or so attempts.

I guess this might be a broader issue than I originally thought. Randomly during combat some HUD elements may fail to load and their function becomes inaccessible as well. In the first screenshot various HUD elements would not appear and they weren't merely hidden, the functionality of those missing HUD elements was also disabled so I couldn't tell Oliver to release a Familiar in to the combat nor tell Oliver to attack anything, the issue persisted for that entire fight whenever I changed to controlling Oliver & his familiars. It fixed it self in subsequent fights.

The second screenshot shows how the HUD is supposed to look.
