I confirm the issue. The bug was not present for sure up to release 0.0.34-17098 and seems to be preset since 0.0.34-17121. Currently it is necessary to always remove the shader cache in order the game is started otherwise rpcs3 will close/crash
Same here, I have to clear the shader cache to prevent the game from crashing.
Can confirm as well. MGS4 had no issues on any builds I installed up to this point, though I had not launched RPSC3 or updated it for around a week before today.

It looks like the latest update fixed the issue for me.
Quick summary
