for people to try out on a local machine or contribute some code a running copy helps a lot.

[ ] install needed packages (e.g. Debian or Ubuntu)
[ ] fork RML and use GitHub flow to contribute
[ ] configuration of local webserver (nginx or Apache)
[ ] configuration of PostgreSQL
[ ] other hints on running a local copy
[ ] continuing later how to setup as an onion service or alike

Of course this is open to any suggestions what would be useful for you.

@shithead – who engages in configuring containers for e.g. docker

other possibility for a packaging tool that can run configuration: holo

maybe while configuration take care to ensure some directories to be readable or provide a list of files that are available for e.g. mirrors:

/uploads/ for input format of books
dir for covers
dir for last build

etc.

Also configure upload limits (timeout/size?) to enable also the bigger book uploads (with quite some pictures)

maybe separate in containers or alike ():

@Jotunbane ~~plz provide a new repository (e.g. named "docker") in this organization~~ seems I was able to do that myself :)

@shithead will soon finish a combination of vagrant and docker for automated and separated installation of the service for easier development and eventually also more secure deployment
