Please open up AVN & UPX mining on zergpool via GPU/CPU #2056

Noticed a few coins are set as cpu/gpu but can only be mined via one or the other on RBMiner:

AVN is a GPU/CPU minable coin that is profitable right now but I can get any of my cpu's to mine it.. I see it on Zergpool and possibly other pools but i cant get my cpu miners to farm it on RBminer.

here is details on what algos and miners support it http://avn.network/start-mining/

UPX is another coin that can be mined via cpu/gpu but is only available with CNGPU (nvidia prefered) on RB miner

Use the ZergPoolCoins module, if you plan to mine specific coins. The algorithms for AVN are MinotaurX and X16rt.

In fact, it has been removed from the Xmrig default miner. I'll re-add that old XmrigUpx implementation for CPU mining. EDIT: I need to correct myself, CN-Upx2 is still part of the Xmrig. I'll check the implementation compatibilty

Thank you for such great support by the way! I was wondering does RBminer keep a table of the coins and the algos that mine them? When i go to ZRGPOOL module and specify AVN in the coin symbol section, only the gpus go to work.. the cpus are all idle.

There are the pool stats in folder .\Stats\Pools - one for each coin/algo/pool. Also, you can have a look at your http://localhost:4000 and click the Pools section. It will show all currently available coins and algos.

When i go to ZRGPOOL module and specify AVN in the coin symbol section, only the gpus go to work.. the cpus are all idle.

Actually, the CPUs should work and start mining with MinotaurX, too. There are SrbMinerMulti and CpuminerRplant miners, that should mine the AVN coin on CPU. Did you add "CPU" to the parameter "DeviceName" in config.txt? Also, it may be related to a bug in the pool module (should be fixed with commit 506bc16cb20c4d39ae00a2e7decc379e79b09e57)
