Question on check_hsm #3

I'd like to do some good monitoring on hsm boxes, and found your script. But i have one question. What is /opt/PTK/bin/ctcheck and where do i get it ?

RaymiiOrg commented 11 years ago

It is on the CD you get from Safenet. This check is specifically for Safenet HSM's, in my case Protectservers. Those have a CD with the UNIX toolkit and SDK. You can also send your safenet contact person an email asking for an updated version. I had to do that to get the 64 bit version, the CD only had the 32 bit...

http://www.safenet-inc.com/products/data-protection/hardware-security-modules/protectserver-hsms/ might help you. I don't know how it would work for other HSM's.

What kind of HSM's do you use/have?

Hi @RaymiiOrg - I've a similar question, We are planning to implement monitoring for HSM failures. We use Safenet Luna PCIe HSM cards, Can you please help if there is any similar script for the Luna PCIe or Luna SA version ?
