Please note that this project is not being actively worked on or maintained - see the readme.

That being said, I believe there are still users of the plugin. Potentially if you describe the issue you might find that can help.

If your app worked in prior versions of Android, then you will probably want to take a look the Android documentation for background services (which does change from time to time).

If this is a new app, then I'd recommend using a different framework thank Phonegap/ Cordova.
