Output looks incorrect, different from other viewer #35

I use Blender4.0 and import a ply file, it works. But the output looks incorrect. It's different from what it looks on other render engine. For example, it looks different from the python-viewer.(https://github.com/Florian-Barthel/gaussian_viewer)

What's wrong going on?

Can you show both outputs?

Can you show both outputs?

Here's the output from blender-addon and python-viewer. Blender-addon output: image image

Python-viewer output: image image

The blender-addon output is more like an oil painting style or polymesh?. Is there any problem in my importing process? My impression is that the blender viewer doesn't actually splat gaussians but rather spheres or flattened spheres. Is that true? @connornishijima
