Error When Adding Files

[GoogleCodeExporter]

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. clicking on add files button 
2. choosing a few files and clicking the open button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect it to add the files to SIU, but it gives the error screen instead

What version of SIU are you using? (Ex: 4.0.0)
SIU 4.0.0

If you attach an error report or a screenshot of the error, you get a gold
star! :)

I don't really know which object the error is referring to since the line it 
references has a couple. I will need to set up a TeamViewer with you to see if 
I can figure out more details. I have added you in gmail.

We determined it was the application variables not being set correctly that was 
messing up the MasterFileList, which caused the error. I'm going to migrate to 
a settings.ini file instead of application settings.
