agentless scanning mysql failed to authenticate #98

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.set up opendlp virtalbox at my current laptop and import the certificates and
sc.exe into opendlp virtualbox
2. start create profile for mysql agentless and put in username root and
password for mysql xampp i have set up on other pc
3.ping to the target machine that have been set up with xampp mysql from
opendlp vm and then start scanning

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output should be showing the database but instead i got an error where
it says it could not authenticate to MySQL databsse server whereas i already
create the password for root account and set up the database and table in root
account database for testing purposes at the target machine

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
using opendlp v5.1 VM at my laptop windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
My network environment is standalone environment not the domain environment
therefore i also already set up file sharing and map to hostname c$ just in
case. I don understand why opendlp failed to authenticate to my mysql xampp
whereas i already create the password for root account and create the database?
Is it something wrong with OpenDLP or with my xampp Mysql? i also double check
on my target machine services and ensure that mysql services is running

Can you authenticate to the MySQL instance from another remote machine with a
MySQL client?

Hi andrew,

i managed to remote connect to xampp mysql using navicat after i add the user
in xampp mysql and ensure it allow the user to connect to xampp mysql with
certain privileges. i also edit the bind address in my.ini to 0.0.0.0 to ensure
that anyone can connect to xampp mysql. weird is when i try to agentless scan
again using the opendlp after i have edit the xampp to allow the opendlp to
connect to mysql i got the following output where the logs is empty and it does
not scan
