The game suffers from major graphical glitches, forcing GL1 mode helps a little but it's still unplayable

Here's how it looks with GL1 mode

Despite the cut screen size the game works, it seems to run at good speed, you can start a new game and even has gamepad support, but you can't really play it this way

Missing Game ID

elpapadelospollitos commented 2 years ago

Solved it, first you have to open the game in UTMT, then check the menu on the left and click on the General info tab, now look for an option called "Default windows size" whose values will be 320 and 240 respectively, I changed this resolution to 1000 for the first and 550 for the second, this allowed me to at least watch what was happening in my game.

The problem was this only changed the resolution of what was showing on the screen, not really the game resolution so the game rendering was still cut off, as in even with the game occupying the whole vita screen, it was only showing half of the actual game.

To solve this just start a new game, the moment you are able to walk, press select and choose the "quit" option to return to the main menu, after this enter the "display" options and look for the "fullscreen" option, then toggle it until the image is centered (you have to do it in this order or won't work) (you have to do this everytime you enter the game), the game will now render properly with a default resolution independently of the windows size values you set on UTMT, so those are only useful for being able to actually watch the menus and configure them properly.

The game may crash sometimes, but otherwise runs at full speed and it's totally playable, I'm still testing it so will update if I found something related to the crashes.

Don't forget to force GLES1 mode.

The game crashes constantly, but I don't know the reasoning behind this, some actions seem to trigger crashes, but sometimes they won't and if you're lucky, you might be able to play a considerable amount of time without any errors, but afaik this happens randomly.

So I don't know if In Game High or Playable.

Game now plays in version f8b628 of YoYo Loader, no more tiles. Played for several hours and encountered a number of bosses.

Note: Once game menu is reached go to "Display" and scroll down to "Shader" and turn off CRT (scanline) off, this will enable game to run at 30fps. Picture 2.

Note2: Game can also be optimized. When optimized Use Uncached Memory does not need to be enabled to hit 30fps.
