5 years ago Twitter ripper is actually extremely fast due to the heavy compression Twitter does on their files which reduces filesize to almost nothing. You can do it in under ten minutes.
Hello, love this app and have been using it without issues, however one thing that is a major setback for me is I'm unable to rip MY OWN locked twitter acc, that I use purely for retweeting images I want to keep bookmarked / saved - I have some slower options of downloading them to my pc & tried some extensions but I'd love the option to actually use ripme with it esp with the handy 'preserve order' setting and overall speed and reliability.
I realize it should be possible to make it do this with the api key however twitter has changed the way it handles giving out this information - you need a developer account that needs to be approved by staff and I doubt they'd just give it away if I tell them my actual intended purpose.
One thing that comes to mind is I'd be fine giving the ripme app the login for this twitter account so it could access it and rip the images from it ?
If there is other options I'm unaware of and am just blind to finding please let me know.
&before someone says 'just unlock it, download and re-lock' since its a rt account I'd prefer not to have it suddenly show up in a lot of people's notifications and have strangers snooping around n following it esp if the first rip takes an hour to get the acc's whole history down
