Watch Silver Linings Playbook Online Free Movie : David O. Russell is no
stranger to using his films as tools to explore dramatically dysfunctional
familial relations, and his latest offering Silver Linings Playbook may be his
best yet. The auteur behind films as varied as Spanking the Monkey, Flirting
with Disaster, I Heart Huckabees and 2010’s exemplary The Fighter is most
comfortable operating in an arena where the relationships between parents and
children are complicated at best, and permanently psychologically damaging at
worst. Silver Linings Playbook, starring Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and

Solitano (Bradley Cooper) has just gotten out of a mental institution and finds
himself back at his parent’s house (played by Robert DeNiro – so very nice
to have you back, sir – and the underrated Jacki Weaver). He has been living
for years with an undiagnosed bi-polar disorder, which becomes painfully clear
only when, upon finding his wife in the shower with another man, he very nearly
beats the man to death and then proceeds to accuse his wife and her paramour of
attempting extortion (a bald faced lie). Now, whenever he hears Stevie
Wonder’s “My Cherie Amour” (both his wedding song, as well as the song
that was playing in a CD player when he discovered his wife), he loses it,
often violently.

family and specifically a Philadelphia Eagles family. Sports fandom can serve
as a unifier to most families, and although on the face of it the Eagles do
bring the Solitano’s together, DeNiro’s Pat Sr. and his OCD-based game day
superstitions serve only to create tension in the household, which of course
lights the fuse for the mentally fragile Pat. Given to fits of mania and social
awkwardness underscored by his lack of a verbal filter, Cooper imbues Pat with
an energy and depth of character that he doesn’t often get the opportunity to

a pretty face, ladies and gentlemen: Bradley Cooper is lights out here, and
breathes into Pat an initially heartbreaking but ultimately inspiring soul.
That he’s got a gift for uncomfortable humor helps tremendously, as well.
Although Pat is focused on reconciling his relationship with his wife (who,
meanwhile has filed a restraining order against him), when he meets the dark,
damaged, and recently widowed Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), he forges a
relationship with the one person who may be able to actually help him make
sense of life.
Watch Silver Linings Playbook Online Free Movie : The scenes between
Lawrence’s caustic Tiffany and explosive Pat are dynamite, and Lawrence in
particular is magnetic. To wit, check out the “not a date” scene between
Pat and Tiffany in a diner on Halloween where, surrounded by people concealing
their identities behind costumes, Pat and Tiff finally reveal something of
themselves to each other. It doesn’t get much better than this, and indeed
lays the foundation for Tiffany to lasso Pat into acting as her partner in the
dance competition that serves as the unconventional but stirring climax to the

Russell, and that’s very, very welcome. Silver Linings Playbook is a film
that, at its heart, is about learning to accept the differences in each other,
not so that we may merely coexist, but rather so that we can find a way to love
each other. There’s not a lot of love lost between Cooper’s Pat and
DeNiro’s Pat Sr. For as much as Pat’s mental illness has affected his
family, it’s Pat Sr.’s anger issues and resultant clashes with his son that
actually threaten to tear the family apart. The Solitano’s are held together
only by the superglue that is Jacki Weaver’s long suffering Dolores.

years, if not decades, and he and Cooper hit all the beats in an intricate
dance that at various times borders on tragic and comic, raging and
compassionate, but always digging, tirelessly, at the truth – to the heart.
This is perhaps the most impressive feat accomplished here by Russell – that
he has crafted a romantic comedy that doesn’t rely on staid and stale tropes
but rather seeks to always explore the truth in relationships. ( Download

exceedingly understanding and well-written script, he succeeds in a most
thrilling way. Buoyed by a sterling soundtrack featuring cuts as disparate as
Led Zeppelin’s “What Is and What Should Never Be,” Bob Dylan and Johnny
Cash’s “Girl From the North Country,” and Dave Brubeck’s “Unsquare
Dance,” Silver Linings Playbook is a miracle of a movie – on paper, it
probably shouldn’t work, but it does, and beautifully. It tackles difficult
subject matter with both grace and ferocity – a rare combination for sure,
but one that ought not be surprising when coming from a talent like David O.
