Quitting RMG and starting it again should fix that

Plugin-mupen64plus-video-angrylion-plus.dll GOOD !! The sound crackles when recording! Overall, the sound is perfect in gameplay.

so maybe a linux issue...or worse, intel gpu issue.

deleted my ~/.config/RMG and re-ran. things are fine. not sure what it was but clearly a settings issue
