openFrameworks Inspirations #7

How about we make this thread into a repository for interesting openFrameworks projects that we come across? I'll start:

My Little Piece of Privacy - Niklas Roy My Little Piece of Privacy Image

Starfield - lab2012 Starfield Image

ALEPH - Tiemen Rapati Aleph Image

keytweeter - Kyle McDonald - openFrameworks Forum Post keytweeter Image

This isn't openFrameworks, but it's another C++ platform, and I liked the talk he gave: Eyeo2012 Particles Talk - Robert Hodgin Robert Hodgin's Eyeo2012 Presentation

Here's an interesting website I found. It's not necessarily oF related, but it is sort of related to what we're talking about in this class. This guy uses mechanics, electronics, and programming to do some interesting things with motion control. His works are more demo-ey and not so poetic, but I really like his Sisyphus series.

@noahcoleman nice! A friend from Minneapolis.

I would love to go through some of the projects we are collecting here in class and discuss them in relationship to the Poems vs. Demos discussion.

For more discussion on that:

@danthemellowman and @laserpilot helped make this system.

I thought this one was neat. And creepy.

@bakercp Zach Lieberman seems like a very cool guy. @noahcoleman Sisyphus would be awesome to see in motion...

I debated posting this one, but I think the 'making of'' is pretty cool for showing off the types of things we can do by building a tool - combining elements of programmed physics/animation and input gestures:
