Pass testsuite on Debian #81

All tests successful.
Files=73, Tests=1230, 207 wallclock secs ( 0.70 usr  0.20 sys + 16.55 cusr 24.84 csys = 42.29 CPU)
Result: PASS

@WOnder93 rebased onto your read -t patch and re-tested on Debian.

Thanks, just one final nitpick: could you add "tests: " and "tests/perf_event: " prefixes to the subject of the second and third commit (respectively) and add "tests/" to the last two? (There is no codified rule for this yet, but I've been using this pattern for a while and with consistent prefixes the history is easier to navigate.)
