BTStack wont connect iphone 8gb 2g on 3.1.3 with wii remote #93

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open any A.D./A.D.X. emulator with bluetooth OFF
2. try to sync with wiimote in settings
3. sit there and wait as it says "connecting" with Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 but 
nothing happens.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I'm hoping that it will sync with the remote so that I can play these emulators 
with a real controller. when it syncs to the wiimote, it hangs on a 
"connecting" screen. I can close out of it, and it will say its on in the 
settings, as well as the light remaining solid on the wii remote, but when I 
open a game, no input on the wii remote registers. tried with multiple OEM and 
3rd party wiimotes to the same fate.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using the latest version of BTStack (0.2-899) on an Iphone 3G 8GB with FW 
3.1.3 jailbroken with Redsn0w 9.4.

Please provide any additional information below.

want to know if this is a common issue, and stable alternatives to updating my 
firmware. I hate 4.0 and a lot of my most useful apps are exclusive to 3.x and 
cost more money on 4.x.

afaik, you cannot run OS 4.x on an iPhone 2G. 

anyway, the OS version doesn't have an impact on BTstack-based apps.

please contact the author of the emulator, I didn't even know it.

if you like, please upload /tmp/hci_dump.pklg from your device after an 
connection attempt. I can look if the connection works as expected.
