[WIP] Fix wheel build for Datajoint failing on macOS #405
This PR includes a fix from a branch that mirrors the upstream/datajoint-pipeline instead of the upstream/main branch, which prevents testing the changes with GitHub Actions.
I’ve opened a new PR #406 against the main branch to enable testing with GHA, so I’m closing this PR accordingly.
