this search function is cool, but i only know English ... so that is all it supports for now

That's a good idea. However, it would have been nice if you created a new branch for that since you have now the Focus effect and the search feature in the same pull request.

So I think it would be best if you copied the changes you did to extensions.js and to the settings UI to someplace safe, checked out main, created a new branch, and implemented the changes there. That would be awesome!

Or, alternatively, we finalize the Focus effect first.
