11 years ago What you suggested here would be nice but i would say that the current docs page could be made better.
The home page is now rather bare with only 2 main items:
- Build with Pybossa
- Install Pybossa
And as an outsider i would not know what the first one was (build what with PyBossa?).
Some Suggestions:
- Have 3 options (with descriptions for each)
- Create CrowdSourcing Apps with PyBossa
- Install your own PyBossa Server
- Contribute to PyBossa development
- Make each of these into a nice box (a la facebook docs etc)
- I'd really recommend (again ;-) ) using the okfn sphinx theme as it uses bootstrap which would allow you to make e.g. boxes really easy
- Consider have some sublinks. Each contribute to pybossa dev could link to architecture
Currently the layout of the homepage docs is a mess, everything is messed, showing information about the API, deployments, etc. It should be simplified, like in KDE, Facebook, or Ubuntu docs.
