When we forked from SMC, we changed the game title to "The Secret Chronicles of Dr. M.", settled on a different story, started exchanging (and adding new) graphics, and recently, we finally replaced the title theme (the melody that plays on the title menu). As it was discussed in #669, the current title menu does not fit our intended style for TSC any more -- it is much too colourful. We need a more serious title menu.
In the same ticket it was pointed out that the current title menu is not translatable. Whatever the new title menu will be, it should be based upon CEGUI, which will make it translatable. The current menu is comprised of bitmaps for each menu item, effectively preventing any translation unless we develop them into a bitmap font (which is too much work).
Please, make suggestions on how you would like the title menu to look in the future. It won't change for the upcoming 2.1.0, but it will probably be used in a subsequent version of TSC.
