Login not working in chrome. #18

There is a problem when trying to login with Google Chrome, with OneFileCMS 3.4.17 (on php 5.3.3). I am not sure what the problem is but it returns the standard bad login error.

The password box seems to fill with characters just before the data posts. Note: the login still works in Internet Explorer,Firefox.

Hmmm... Well, I can't seem to replicate this issue - I have Chrome 19, and tried it on PHP versions 5.2.8, 5.2.17, 5.3.0, and 5.4.4. Is the issue exhibited on a hosted website, or on a local PC based test setup? What version of Chrome do you have?

The characters filling the password box (presumably obscured as dots or something) is normal and is a result of the client side hashing functions.

If you can think of any other info that may be related or helpful, that would be great. And thanks for posting the issue.

Isaacrg, if you have time and the interest, could you try the updated OneFileCMS (version 3.4.20) with your copy of Chrome?

It was a temporary Chrome bug, update was rolled out a few days after.

Problem had been universal on that version of Chrome(Linux/Mac/win)
