My inventory upon entering my singleplayer world was wiped #2745

Information

Minecraft version: 1.20.1 Modloader: Forge Forge version: 47.3.11 Environment: Singleplayer

Mod name: Mod Mod version: 1.20.1-7.1

Description

I've found a method to have your active inventory destroyed for your second time entering a world.

Since my first time loading in the world I wanted to pause. I pressed ESC while on the screen to chose my loadout. Next time I login, I get the option a second time to chose a loadout. After choosing one, I realize all my inventory was gone except for the starter items I selected.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Start on a new world (I imagine any game mode will do the same thing)
  2. When asked to select a loadout, press Escape
  3. Get at least an item in your inventory
  4. Leave world
  5. Re-enter
  6. Select a loadout

Expected: My starter gear would've be equipped.
If the space was already occupied, add them to inventory. If inventory is full, drop items on the floor. Actual:All items that I had we're gone. Replaced by my loadout items.
