Is this project abandoned?
If it's not, let me ask why it freezes qgis on Windows?
I have OSGeo4W distribution and IPython is working correctly inside this environment (with Python 2.7 and pyzmq), however after installing this plugin and enabling it, when I try to run it, it just freezes qgis.
Worth noting is that I run latest dev version of IPython. Maybe this plugin works just with 0.12?
