No Spawners are working initially #510

Description:

The Spawners and Spawnblocks (like Biomass, Block of Spawning Dreadguards/ Chagaroth, etc) don´t work initially, only when i place them manually.

I would probably start by removing optimization mods (or check for any mentions of "ticking tile entities" in the config files). Possible culprits (based no nothing in particular) could be VanillaFix, Multithreaded Noise, Surge, Phosphor, or FoamFix.

I assume (based on your description) that some optimization mod is preventing ticking blocks from ticking if they generate naturally, but allow them to do it if placed by a player, which in theory could improve performance (but also break things). Once you find the culprit mod, I would expect the mod to have a whitelist or similar in a config file, where one would be able to allow the blocks to do their thing without being placed by a player.

Wow didn’t expect to get an answer, thank you very much and I will definitely try it out again! It’s now the time for the yearly 1 month Minecraft project I think :D Thank you again, I really love your Modpack it is so nice and it makes so much fun to play with, thank you for writing it! Are there any plans for updates or ect? Just curious :)
