AGI-24 pre-conference, 7th August 2024

There are roles for

• Zoom facilitator (non-speaking role - managing the recording, the Chat, etc)
• documenter
• sharing outputs after the event

for each of 5 breakout rooms at the pre-conference event on 7th August.

Payments will come from the Foundation, rather than the WG budget. TBC how money will be transferred to the Ambassador program and managed. Will probably need to create separate issues for each task

• Vani to share a sign-up sheet in the next couple of days.
• And will be mentioning it at Town Hall.
• It will be open to the whole Ambassador program - but it would be nice if AI Ethics WG members have first dibs, as they're the people who have shown interest in the topic.
• Due to the short time-frame, we don't have time to train people - so ideally it needs to be people who can already do the task without needing much support.
• Tho perhaps we could fund some "shadowing" roles - pay people's time to attend and see how it is done?

• @colleenpridemore will facilitate the room on "Anthropomorphism, personalisation, and AI"
• Guillermo and Ines will facilitate the LatAm breakout room: Colaboración IA-humanos. La naturaleza de la AGI en la política, la sostenibilidad social y el bien común
