Host Your Hack's Front-end on Skynet

Summary

Create or fork a DeFi tool and host the front-end on Skynet. We encourage teams to submit projects from other sponsors' bounties.

Background

DeFi needs decentralized hosting and storage to maintain its decentralization. Skynet provides easy-to-use, easy-to-access decentralized storage for users and developers, without needing any special wallet or browser extensions. Data is stored by hosts on the Sia Blockchain network, and pinned to the network by a decentralized network of Skynet portals.

Skynet is highly performant, and, with our new Homescreen web app, we're letting users maintain ownership over versioned builds of application front-ends. Users have easy access to their favorite DeFi apps, backed up to Skynet, for maximum control, fraud protection, and censorship resistance. Homescreen is just around the corner, and we want DeFi apps to have Skynet builds ready for users.

Bounty Description

Create or fork a DeFi tool and host the front-end on Skynet. This earns 1 share of the prize pool. Earn up to 4 pool shares by:

adding a working "Save to Homescreen" link in the Github repo (example) | 3 shares
using an ENS or HNS decentralized domain name for the web app | 1 share
use the Deploy to Skynet Github action for building and deploying your frontend automatically | 1 share
hosting off-chain, mutable application data on Skynet using SkyDB or MySky | 1 share

The prize pool will be split evenly between each eligible submission share.

We encourage teams to submit projects from other sponsors' bounties!

Submission Requirements

All projects must be fully open-source.
Your project’s submission must clearly state how it uses Skynet.
