A start, but blog looks way out of date and I don't see how that will help you remember the nine lessons.

I like how you added comparisons between Python and Java since you're familiar with Python. I think it would be super useful later. The analogy is a bit traumatizing though (joke).

Akhil353 commented 1 month ago

Your blog has information and is relatable as I also compared Java to Python. The lesson overview was also helpful to remember the theme.

M8tth3 commented 1 month ago

I like how you made comparisons between and Python to help you better understand Java.

nitinsandiego commented 1 month ago

I liked how you compared Java syntax vs Python syntax, which helps you create better understanding of this new language.

JoshThinh commented 1 month ago

I think that comparing Python and Java understanding the different syntaxes was well-designed. I also like how you included presentation memory with the picture.

iKAN2025 commented 1 month ago

Good job on putting takeaways here! Nice memory from our presentation

Be1uga4life commented 1 month ago

Liked the humor. I liked the python vs java mindset comparison, and the growth is noticeable.

JasonGuan1012 commented 1 month ago

Overall, it is solid work and then the blog and the issue are very organized as well. The issue included images and good summaries which will be really helpful when reviewing the units.

SrinivasNampalli commented 1 month ago

Shown the great journey of teaching a difficult unit. Funny moments and indepth understanding of the code.

Blog - in association with Units and Teaching Memory - something to recall your individual presentation Relevancy - something impactful you learned Beyond Perfunctory - something that shows you want to learn

Teacher of Unit 9. Made comparison between Java and Python in blog. Made a Kahoot. ArrayLists and learning. Made program for game board.

TDWolff commented 1 month ago

he had a good balance of what he did to remember code and also made comparisons between python and java which shows how he as a learner changed throughout is learning experience during sprint 2. He went in-depth on how his unit and specifically his part maintained lightheartedness during his team teaching.

aaguy-hue commented 1 month ago

Making comparisons between Python and Java was a smart idea since you are more familiar with Python. I also liked your joke about Mr. Mortensen being the parent class and the students being the child classes. Having a Kahoot was smart.

DavidL0914 commented 1 month ago

I like how you made comparisons between Python and Java - relating a new, unfamiliar language with something you're used to seems like a good idea and shows you put in effort. I like your reflection on comparing us to Mr. Mort as his children classes. Good job in making examples to help reflect your learning.

Tanuj253 commented 1 month ago

interesting review as you went over your lesson and your experiences.

tarasehdave commented 1 month ago

I liked the recall of what you knew about coding in the past, including python, which demonstrates how much you've learned.

trevorhuang1 commented 1 month ago

Good illustrations and good speech about relevancy. I like how you explained how the lesson on ArrayLists was able to connect your knowledge of Python and Java together.

Th35py27 commented 1 month ago

Images are good, to help remember content info. Talked about initial struggles, and how you grew from it

shuban-789 commented 1 month ago

Very funny and relatable. I like how you reflected on your Sprint experience in a constructive manner which had some optimisim but also sort of joked on the situation. It really showed your journey throughout this sprint. I think in Go :)
