Modloader.asi - Error Code 998 on Fedora

• Launcher Version: 2.2.0.0
• Operating system: Nobara (Based of Fedora 36)
• Wine/Mono Version (if any): 7.19 Staging, Lutris-GE-Proton 7.30, Lutris-fshack 6.14.4

Running the game on default wine selection from lutris script(6.14.4) brings ModLoader error

Running the game on other wine versions loads the game to first loading screen and then it throws critial error Game Crash: Access Violation (0xC0000005)

I've seen the Modloader Error 998 on occasion. Usually restarting the launcher will clear it up. Might need to reboot your machine, as well.
