Auto speed as fallback/default? #1

Uh, why is auto speed the (only) fallback or default?

The very reason for using fan control software is because the hardware one (i.e., auto) doesn't work as it should!

Thing is that "auto" mode is safe, and I didn't want to burn my hardware. Especially when I made it available, I couldn't be sure how it will work on laptops different than mine (I think mine was R51e) so I went for the safest option. I'm not using a ThinkPad for a long time now, but still feel free to submit a patch or fork the repo. Cheers!
