We want to be clear that this is for non-copyrighted material and cannot reference franchises (i.e., "Star Wars", "Marvel", etc.).

There are two models here:

  1. The requester pre-orders the license ahead of time. Upon completion, they are sent the license.
  2. The request is made and the license is reserved for the requester. Upon completion, they are sent a notification that it is ready for purchase

Both of these add a lot of work and I personally prefer the first one as the 2nd one leaves loose ends and people are finicky. :)
