Great Idea, thank you!

Two suggestions:

Add the ability to use .md file instead of .txt only. With MD you can use markdown syntax - [title](URL)
Add the ability to wipe the file e.g. with action modifier CMD

As to markdown, I will reconsider that. I did originally use that but then discovered my links file was opening in my default md app (obviously) which was not, personally, convenient for me. Maybe I'll consider adding it as an option: it should be do-able.

Good idea to have the option of deleting the file. Will take a look at that.

I suggest Typora.io as md editor supporting WYSIWYG

Thanks—that is, indeed, the app I use (and it's very good). For what it's worth I also use the QLMarkdown.app to provide QuickLook type preview of markdown files which is also very useful.

In any event, I'll go with markdown on my updated workflow - so thanks for the incentive to update it!

Yes QLMarkdown would be great.

And even beyond: make links.md searchable would be great.
