Decals and overlays not smoothing for spherical brushes #825

Describe the bug

If place decal/overlay on cylinder or other spherical form and compile map - you will see lines on overlay/decal of texture that use brush on that was placed overlay/decal. It's looks unbeautiful and cause stairs on distance. No way to fix this (only if create new texture for brush and add overlay for it in photoshop).

This problem is available in all Source Engine games.

To Reproduce

  1. Open my map for quick test. maps1.zip
  2. Pay attention to how overlay work with cylinder.

Issue Map

Any with spherical brushes.

Expected Behavior

Overlay/decal should looks like in Hammer 3D View.

Any.

The archive include .vmf of the map.

I'm not sure why you keep adding black mesa examples to your issues. They don't apply here at all..
