CTRL + F not working on fresh install

Issue: Trying to search within a note using the default keyboard shortcut CTRL + F does not work, no search from inside iCloud Notes pops up.

OS & relevant info:

Manjaro Linux x86_64
kernel 6.9.10-1-MANJARO

fresh install of icloud-notes using: sudo snap install icloud-notes

I can use other keyboard shortcuts like CTRL + SHIFT + I to check browser version from console for example:
