After reading Backbone, The Primer, it's making more sense of what backbone does, then when we were doing it in class.

While there are a handful of keynotes from reading this, the two that stands out for me are:

Collections are derived from Arrays, while Models are derived from Objects
"when you extend a backbone component, you always get back a constructor function"

@rtablada - I had a question about REST, what is REST?. But i think i answered my own question. Correct me if i'm wrong. REST is part of AJAX, and AJAX is part of jQuery, and jQuery is a dependencies for backbone?
