bebers02 commented 9 years ago

TTMTT commented 9 years ago

@HERO4903 No, estoy en busca de una solución..

TTMTT commented 9 years ago

HERO4903 commented 9 years ago

Ok

willgabriel commented 9 years ago

the solution would be to block the access in 1000

bebers02 commented 9 years ago

TTMTT commented 9 years ago

@willgabriel my server block maybe 1000 or 500 connections.. but the problem is still..

BladiMar commented 9 years ago

@TTMTT if you are using Apache forget it bro ,Apache can't handle so much traffic ( large number of concurrent requests ) , try nginx + incapsula bro

willgabriel commented 9 years ago

a group of free time, then github twitter after another.not to divulge

rAbd0u commented 9 years ago

sof1105 commented 9 years ago

@TTMTT you need to block some countries and allow others every time some region

BladiMar commented 9 years ago

TTMTT commented 9 years ago

BladiMar commented 9 years ago

RE @TTMTT if you are using Apache forget it bro ,Apache can't handle so much traffic ( large number of concurrent requests ) , try nginx + incapsula bro :D

bebers02 commented 9 years ago

sof1105 commented 9 years ago

@TTMTT you can do that by dedicated server not a vps

BladiMar commented 9 years ago

@TTMTT some info regarding apache tuning :

isaactzab commented 9 years ago

@TTMTT maybe with a ticket system can solve this. A ticket for a specific time and with timeout.

sof1105 commented 9 years ago

make a key on the software so a user can just bypass one every 24h or 48h

g454ly commented 9 years ago

@TTMTT maybe everyday server online 5 minutes only bro

g454ly commented 9 years ago

why not your follower here to try your server capable or not

alejandrofcarrera commented 9 years ago

A good point is a ticket system with day and hour per device. If you want unlock an device you have one ticket that it is valid from its ticketing date to twenty four hours later.

For example: 1000 tickets/day => 2000 devices max/day due to you have to consider the day before. So when the ticket and unlock is succesful, ticket is outdated. You can control over and DDoS from this way. For betas it is the same system, but email or user instead of device.

penguinunix commented 9 years ago

well, maybe I'm wrong about you TTMTT, but since I have not unlock my icloud yet

this could be a hint, Apple will do flood to your server (I create my own in the past, and apple flood my server, believe it or not!)

you can check every active connection, and check the ip pool, if it comes from apple, block it.

trust me, they capable to do it, and they will do it :)

BladiMar commented 9 years ago

well, good night everyone ,and again, happy new year and the best wishes to all of you

rickygm commented 9 years ago

server is down?

MohammedNawar commented 9 years ago

cant we make a waiting list for server orders :D

MohammedNawar commented 9 years ago

@TTMTT can u make permission only for specific ip numbers?

MohammedNawar commented 9 years ago

f you wish to restrict access to portions of your site based on the host address of your visitors, this is most easily done using mod_authz_host.

The Allow and Deny directives let you allow and deny access based on the host name, or host address, of the machine requesting a document. The Order directive goes hand-in-hand with these two, and tells Apache in which order to apply the filters.

The usage of these directives is:

Allow from address

where address is an IP address (or a partial IP address) or a fully qualified domain name (or a partial domain name); you may provide multiple addresses or domain names, if desired.

For example, if you have someone spamming your message board, and you want to keep them out, you could do the following:

Deny from 10.252.46.165
