I think the application was abandoned to its fate and stopped development

Isn't there an active fork working on maintaining it? I only find forks that just don't change anything, it's just an empty fork.

Davilarek commented 1 year ago

I currently try to implement Feature Requests on my own fork. I will try to maintain it, but I don't really know how to fix most of bugs.

Terkyz commented 1 year ago

Maybe it's too early to ask, but is there any chance you could release it through the IzzyOnDroid or Fdroid repositories? I would help with the bugs but I have no experience with Java.

Davilarek commented 1 year ago

Well, I never published anything on F-Droid. But, when I implement some features I need for myself and maybe fix some bugs, I can think about submitting it to F-Droid. If you want to try out my test versions, you can download apk created by Github Actions.

Terkyz commented 1 year ago

Works great, what feature request did you implement?

Davilarek commented 1 year ago

Currently working on #222, (probably) completed #240 and I added feature myself, button that removes all finished downloads (without deleting files).

TeaqariaWTF commented 1 year ago

Can I make a feature request? @Davilarek

Davilarek commented 1 year ago

Sure, I will try to implement it after finishing #222

Can you start downloading the links in it when we save direct download links into a TXT file and transfer this txt file to the application?

Davilarek commented 1 year ago

I'm not sure I understand correctly... You mean loading active download list from file? Also, you can create entire new issue with "[Feature Request]" tag on my fork.
