I noticed that the game hangs after a few seconds. Not sure if it happens on Linux or any other Python version, but I'm on Windows 11 with Python 3.10 and it happens every time.
After Googling it, I found out that adding the line pygame.event.get() to renderer.py right before pygame.display.update() inside update_display fixes the issue.
