OK, no problem

Phone: HTC HD2 TWRP: v2.0.0RC0

I tried to do a factory wipe.

in adb "mount /data" works mount of /data via the touch screen works only when doing a factory wipe, it fails to mount /data and format it.

I have also spoken to Dees_Troy regarding this via IRC

The issue is now fixed in v2.0.0RC 0.1
