Requires Relocation to Memphis, TN
As a Developer Analyst you will work directly with our analysts and business partners to deliver changes that result in operational improvements in processes, and with our technical teams to support our Azure environments. You will be responsible for the following:
Collaborating with analysts and business partners to gain understanding of requests and business challenges/opportunities.
Identifying or proposing appropriate technical solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain.
Designing, developing, testing, and deploying enhancements to improve and/or maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain. This will include extending the solution using X++ development, as well as managing and tracking work completed in Azure DevOps and providing support for application upgrades.
Assisting with the review of development lifecycle process, procedures, and standards. Leading the effort to enhance, document and deploy a best practice approach.
Providing effort updates to support project management principles.
Creating and maintaining technical documentation supporting all development efforts.
Working cooperatively with others in IT to share information, resolve conflicts, and make decisions, as well as train and mentor others.
Assisting with the administration and maintenance of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments.
Staying up to date on emerging technology trends with a desire to stay current and encouraging teams to learn and adopt new technologies.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or a minimum of 5 years of development and analysis experience.
4 or more years of X++ experience.
C# and/or .Net development experience a plus.
4 or more years of T-SQL experience, SSRS experience preferred.
Experience developing in Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
Experience using ODATA and REST endpoints in D365 solutions.
Strong communication, relationship, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines, and with minimal supervision.
Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills.
Working knowledge of project planning tools and concepts.
Understanding of Microsoft LCS and cloud-hosted environments preferred.
Working with applications and users remotely is a plus.
Experience with documenting technical specification preferred.
