I notice on the Play Store, only select devices are compatible for install, and it was a small set (only 1) from my list of work devices, and personal home devices. From browsing the Play Store from computer.
It's unfortunate that the Play Store didn't indicate why devices were or were not compatible. But from loading on device for Play Store, it reports app was "made for an older version of Android".
So I guess there is some OS/API compatibility issue.
What OS versions does this app support back when it was first developed?
Can it run on newer OSes or changes in API or security restrictions break compatibility?
