integration with system notifications? #99

Hi,

is there integration with system notifications or maybe notify-send in ubuntu?

:+1: for this! This is the only thing missing IMO... If there just where a hook that you can run when there a new mail it can be handled by 3d party

There are a bunch of mail checker like apps that can be used as a workaround here... "Mail Checker" is bound to set you on the right direction...

I'd welcome PRs, but as you may guess it's not a priority for me to add it myself. :-)
