Gamepad Controls Scrambled On Load #62

Using a DS4 and enabling the gamepad compatibility tools in MO2 and the MCM menu as instructed in the README, controls will be scrambled (specifically menu buttons) all over the controller at random upon loading a save.

Edit: Interesting part of problem:

Different issues occur whether or not Steam's controller options are disabled or enabled (controlled testing with all programs closed). Skyrim SE is autodetecting my controller just fine when emulating a 360 controller and when using Steam's DS4 tool, but the left hand/right hand buttons are missing as an option in the in game "controls" menu. The L/R hand controls aren't auto-mapped either; it's as if the game loses it's mind when a controller is connected and automatically disables attacking buttons.

P.S. Using an Xbox controller completely fixes the issue; this issue is specific to the DS4 (and probably DS5 )
