It would be cool if we had an option to make it so that the player collides with mobs as if they are solid, but mobs do not collide with each other as if they are solid.
This kind of option would leave the effects of solid mobs on players (such as getting trapped or having to take solidity into account in general) while leaving other interactions such as mob farms (be they spawners, villagers, passives, etc) with their vanilla functionality.
