Describe the Issue

I installed a Minecraft server with Forge & nothing else. Boots fine.

I only added the 1 mod & its dependency file nothing else on a fresh server install to try it out & it fails to boot.

The docs on curseforge state balm-3.2.6.jar is supposed to support 1.18.1 but it doesn't appear to.

Failure message: Mod File balm-3.2.6.jar needs language provider javafml:40 or above to load We have found 39 Mod Version: NO MOD INFO AVAILABLE Mod Issue URL: NOT PROVIDED Exception message: MISSING EXCEPTION MESSAGE

Do you use any performance-enhancing mods (e.g. OptiFine) or custom server distributions (e.g. SpongeForge)?

If I go down to an older version of balm down to balm-2.4.3+0.jar it seems to boot but I am not sure if the mod will still work correctly or if its missing any fixes from the later releases..

I've corrected the supported versions on CurseForge and Modrinth.

1.18.1 is an oddly specific version to choose - you should at least try to get to 1.18.2 (which was mostly compatible with 1.18.1) to avoid these kind of problems. Older versions will always be missing fixes and features and most modders chose 1.18.2 as an LTS version in the past.
