Should Population and Unit be related to Data Record instead of Data Point? This would mean the Data Points in a Data Record have a common Unit or Population. A table containing data for different time periods or geographies would consist of multiple data records.

This assumes Population consists of time period and geography only and is not a specification of a Universe

Changing the relationship of Unit and Population to Data Record instead of Data Point is confirmed in the description of Data record 'collection of Data Points related to a given Unit or Population'
