I think it is OK. It is already split between UPPMAX and NBIS But perhaps ask on AE meeting on Tuesday
Who is the owner of the GitHub UPPMAX organisation? I can contact him/her directly :+1:
Speak to Marcus and he may give an answer directly or delegate
I asked Marcus:
Hi Marcus, For the Programming Formalisms course, we'd like to add a DOI to it, to make it FAIR. Currently, we do this by hand, by uploading to Zenodo. This is quite clumsy. However, there is a nice option in Zenodo to make it update the DOI content with each GitHub release. Problem is: the UPPMAX organization's owner needs to authorize Zenodo to do so. A solution would be that you do so (but I don't know how!) or give me more access rights (you can wind these back when I'm done). Would that be possible? A 'no' is fine, we'll use the clumsy option instead then :slightly_smiling_face:
Sorry @bclaremar, I interpreted too much:
I think it is OK
Would 'it' be 'to move to the GitHub organization programming-formalisms
or to let UPPMAX
be accessed by Zenodo?
perhaps include that we are thinking of using anther organization!
I have the power of UPPMAX now. Will fix this, using UPPMAX :+1:
Currently, this repo has UPPMAX as the owner, hence the
UPPMAX
inhttps://github.com/UPPMAX/programming_formalisms
. With that owner, the content for the DOI of this repo needs to updated manually to Zenodo, unless the owner ofgithub.com/UPPMAX
allows access to Zenodo. One options is to ask the UPPMAX owner to allows Zenodo read-only access.
Another option is to use
programming_formalisms
as an owner. If any of these works, then our Zenodo DOI gets updated automatically with each release. Would be nice!
