Code records with both < and > values #1

There are some records with results coded as > xxx and < yyyy.

How should we code this?

I hadn't run into this before, What about adding columns indicating whether the observations are censored? "R.Cen" for right censored observations (>xxx) and "L.Cen" for left censored (<XXX). The columns could take a value of 0 or 1.
I'm making progress with Git. Things work as expected from my home computer, but not on my EPA computer. I suspect there may be issues write privleges. I'll work with Ann this week to resolve. Talk to you tomorrow.

Both signs are captured in qual1 and qual2 fields for chemical data.
