This seems like a potentially great fit for Apereo uPortal's new contrib project intake process. Green field, just getting started, no baggage. Could just as well do this work in a uPortal-contrib context rather than a UW-Madison-DoIT context?

Earlier we make this move the less friction there is in making the move and the more opportunity there is for others to be aware, get involved?
